The mission of First Southern Baptist Church | Pomeroy, OH is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: to love God and love people and make disciples of Him.
The Vision
The vision of First Southern Baptist Church | Pomeroy, OH is create a community of authentic believers completely committed to Jesus and witness Meigs County transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
We imagine a church completely committed to Jesus. We’re not there yet, but we’re on the way. No matter who you are or what you’ve done, there’s a place for you here.
To pursue this vision, we prioritize 5 core values :
